…has been lovely. A brief visit with my aunt and uncle involving good food, catching up on family news and my uncle's latest crafts, Portland sight seeing, and a tram ride. A smooth opening to our conference. Fine weather. Had dinner out last night with co-workers in the Pearl district--ah, the urban people watching! Missing husband and pets and roses.

I'm planning on a mellow evening tonight, early in bed, maybe a bit of TV. Ah….
